What is a Riddle?

A riddle is a wide description of an object that is not usually direct or easy to identify. Also known as Bugtong-Bugtong in Filipino, riddles were popular ways for people to pass the time.

Here are the few examples of a riddle:

1.Kalamansi/Lime

Bugtong Bugtong, 

Kasing asim ng kili kili,

Kasing liit ng kendi.

2.Sili/Chili Peppers

Bugtong Bugtong,

Sinusunog aking kaluluwa,

Umiiyak ng sobra sobra.

3.Kape/Coffee

Bugtong Bugtong,

Kasing init ng sabaw,

Kasing pait ng ampalaya.
