 What is a Poem?

A poem is a collection of words, either spoken or written, that communicate ideas or feelings in a strongly vivid and imaginative form. A poem follows a certain rhythmic and metrical pattern. In actuality, it is a literary method distinct from prose or regular speech since it is written in either metrical or free poetry. Writers and poets may convey their feelings more easily through this medium, but other forms of expression are more challenging. It serves as a beacon of light, guiding readers in the proper direction. It also occasionally gives kids a moral lesson using sugar-coated words.
